Ed Svojse
Mr. Svojse has more than 35 years of experience with discrete manufacturing, as well as large-scale processed food operations. He has worked as an independent consultant focusing on the areas of process optimization and product traceability within the food industry. He previously spent more than 20 years at Kraft Foods and its Oscar Mayer division in Madison, where he had responsibility for enterprise level information systems service delivery to supply chain and operations functions, such as supply planning and fulfillment, logistics, warehousing and distribution, and manufacturing. Mr. Svojse was also the executive director of the non-profit Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership, whose mission was to help small and mid-size companies achieve their goals through services they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford. He began his career at Eskay Screw Corp., a Woodale, Ill., manufacturer of cold-headed fasteners. At Eskay, he held positions that included: inventory control, sales management, production planning and technology. A native of Cicero, Illinois, Mr. Svojse earned a bachelor’s of science degree in management from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Mr. Svojse is a past parish council president at St. Ignatius Antiochian Orthodox Church, serving from 1997-2015
John D. "Jack" Herbert
Mr. Herbert’s background includes more than 30 years of professional marketing and sales experience in positions of progressive strategic responsibility. During his career, he has been responsible for developing, implementing and managing all facets of corporate strategic plans. He is a highly-creative strategic thinker and problem-solver skilled at analyzing, developing and implementing focused strategic direction. Born and raised in Meriden, Connecticut, Mr. Herbert holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Connecticut, with a concentration in marketing and strategic planning. In addition, he has been responsible for introducing and facilitating the corporate strategic planning process in companies of varying levels of development. He also has extensive experience developing, training, and managing nationwide sales representative networks and channels of distribution. Mr. Herbert is a member of St. Ignatius Antiochian Orthodox Church in Madison, Wisconsin, where he serves as a subdeacon of the Antiochian Archdiocese. Since 1999, he has been a member of the parish council, serving as secretary and head of the Altar Server Ministry.
Peter Kovacich
Mr. Kovacich has worked in the financial industry for over 30 years in positions of progressive management responsibility. His career has been primarily spent in client facing roles supporting financial institutions and their account processing needs. Mr. Kovacich leads a successful national client support team with a strong service orientation known for delivering superior results. He is a member of St. Ignatius Antiochian Orthodox Church, where he has served as parish treasurer and as a member of the parish council since 2011. Mr. Kovacich has also served other churches and non-profit organizations in roles with a financial focus, including treasurer and stewardship committee chairman. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Phillip Anderson
Mr. Anderson is an experienced, innovative transit, taxi and mobility management professional. With over 25 years of experience, he has led with vision, inspired with innovative thinking and a dedication to operational excellence. Mr. Anderson is currently a licensed realtor with eXp Realty. Mr. Anderson has served on the Board of Directors of the Dane County Business Council, and of Pregnancy Helpline of Madison. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography. He also holds a Master of Arts in Applied Theology from the University of Balamand. Mr. Anderson has also started and managed a nonprofit transportation program in southwestern Wisconsin. He is a current member and former parish council member at St. Ignatius Antiochian Orthodox Church.
